Lawrence V. Roberts is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army and retired after twenty-two years of honorable service. While serving in the Army he completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing from Strayer University. Presently, he is a Registered Representative with New York Life Insurance as a Registered Insurance Agent, he can work with an array of clients to help them to secure their financial future. Lawrence assists’ his clients with securing their income while growing it, retirement and educational planning, and meeting their financial needs through the use of different investment products.

Lawrence is passionate about helping people become; better financially today than they were previously. He applies his passion and principle of “If I knew then what I know now” to guide, mentor and direct people so they can make wise financial decisions based on factual numbers with their money for the long term.

He is an active member of Toastmasters international, Colonial Heights Rotary, Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC), Community Scholarship Committee, The Metropolitan Business League of Richmond, VA (MBL). While in the Army he had the opportunity to work in different leadership positions and in the community. His volunteer work included National Black MBA Association youth group Leaders of Tomorrow, Judge for the NAACP Academic Cultural Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Program and Big Brothers and Big Sisters Association.

Lawrence V. Roberts has a strong willingness to help others become better. He truly acts on his beliefs that true greatness is not done alone but through helping others achieve their full potential.
